This is a fabulous restaurant in an old salt warehoues is a building of particular character with its rounded stone arches and woven juniper wood beams.

Dr. Ampex in Via San Giacomo, in the heart of the Villnova area of Cagliari is one of Cagliari’s hidden jewels. It is located in a small side street of the main shopping street and is easy to miss if you are not looking for it!

Once you do find it you’ll be glad you did!

Dr Ampex has one of the most original selections of dishes in the city and uses seasonal local ingredients with main dishes change daily. Local wine is served by the pitcher!

It is a cosy little restaurant with about 12 tables and resembles a family dining room. The fantastic food and the warm hospitality of Giampaolo make Dr Amapex a must when your in town
