These festivals celebrate different aspects of Sardinian history, culture, food and traditions.
Most of the Sardinian festivals start with af religious procession in which locals dress in traditional costumes from each particular town or village. Festivals generally involve a liberal helping of traditional food washed down with locally produced wine so leave the car at home!
