The journey starts near one of the most surprising natural wonders of the island: a powerful karst spring of rare beauty, where crystal-clear water emerges from a gorge more than one hundred meters deep. A primordial spectacle where the strength of nature reveals itself in all its power.

The excursion then continues towards the wild Lanaitho valley, home to the Nuragic site of Sedda Sos Carros, an extraordinary testimony of a mysterious ancient past. Among the remains of this millennia-old settlement lies a unique sacred spring: nine ram heads carved into stone, guardians of water and memory. A place suspended between myth and archaeology that tells the story of ancient rituals and a deep cult of nature.

A short walk finally leads to the Sa Ohe cave, where after heavy rains an underground river bursts out powerfully, breaking the silence of the forest with its raw natural energy.

The experience concludes with a convivial moment together with local shepherds, who welcome guests with a traditional Barbagia lunch prepared with passion and simplicity. The meal includes artisan cured meats, fresh and aged cheeses, ricotta, vegetables, crispy pane carasau, grilled sausages and the famous slow-roasted suckling pig. Seasonal fruit, coffee, a digestif and a glass of Cannonau red wine complete this authentic culinary ritual under the clear sky of Barbagia.
